WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
- Qualified Aerial Yoga teachers, who are looking for a more personalised training experience to enhance their teaching skills and repertoire.
- Qualified or trainee Yoga teachers, Pilates teachers or Physical Therapists with some Aerial Yoga experience.
- Or, those with over 3 months of personal experience in using a Yoga swing, either in a class setting or at home.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COURSE?
- 15 hour of small group training (max 10 people).
- 1 hour of private post course mentorship (via Skype).
- An electronic version of course manual and workbook.
- Online access to course material teaching tutorials.
- Yoga Alliance CPD Certification (upon successful completion).
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COURSE?
- Travel, food and accommodation in London.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
- An expanded 'Cocoon' section incorporating teaching techniques for breath awareness, visualization and guided relaxation.
- Suggestions for how to incorporate Pranayama into your Aerial Yoga teaching to create a deeper, more balanced experience for people and reconnect with the wisdom of traditional Yoga.
- An Aerial Yoga 'Joint-Freeing' series (Pavanamuktasana) to enhance your restorative application of the swing and capacity to work therapeutically with it.
- How to adapt the swing as a prop to assist in classical restorative yoga asana. Suggested postures that work well and how to teach them.
- A selection of our short restorative sequences, that have worked well for us in classes over the years.
